1. Check regulations and choose a location

Consult your state's laws: Before you begin, check with your local government to ensure your chosen mounting location complies with Australian Design Rules (ADRs) and local laws.
Choose a sturdy and compliant spot: Select a secure and sturdy location, such as your vehicle's bull bar or nudge bar, to mount the lights.
Ensure legal placement: The lights must be mounted symmetrically with the vehicle's centre line and must not obstruct the view of the road or interfere with other lights like headlights or indicators. They also shouldn't stick out in a way that could injure someone.
Consider weight limits: Check if your vehicle's bull bar has a weight limit for additional accessories, as fitting lights that are too heavy could void your warranty or damage the bar.

2. Prepare and mount the lights

Assemble the mounts: Prepare the mounting brackets according to the manufacturer's instructions, which may include adding washers and spacers to the bolts.
Loosely secure the lights: Attach the lights to the mounting points but keep the bolts loose to allow for angle adjustment later.
Use all hardware: Use all the supplied hardware for a secure fit. If fitting with M10 bolts, ensure you use all of them and apply anti-seize to the threads before tightening.

3. Aim and finalise the installation

Position for aiming: At night, on a straight, flat road, test the lights to see where they project. Use the outer bezel of the light as a vertical reference to help with initial alignment.
Adjust and tighten: Once you have the lights angled correctly, tighten all the mounting bolts to lock them in place.
Wire the lights: Follow the manufacturer's wiring instructions, ensuring all connections are secure and protected from the elements and moving parts.
Connect the switch: Mount the switch in a convenient location, such as a blanking panel on the dashboard, and connect the wiring to the correct pins on the switch.
