DPF & GPF ON CAR CLEANER by WYNNS PROFESSIONAL

Wynn’s Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) & Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) On-Car Cleaner with its formulation has been developed to allow workshops to clean out and restore Particulate Filters in diesel and petrol vehicles in a safe, fast and efficient way without the need to remove the DPF from the vehicle.

Pre-Application Checks:

Check for fault codes and confirm Particulate Filter blockage
Check engine oil level. In case of oil/fuel dilution carry out a Wynn’s Engine or Diesel Engine Flush and change the oil & filter
Confirm vehicle has as least a ¼ a tank of fuel before commencing treatment
Bring vehicle up to operating temperature and switch off engine
For Euro 6 diesel vehicles disconnect the Air Flow Sensor to prevent the low pressure EGR Valve operating during treatment

Application

Feed the applicator tube directly into the particulate filter via either the, Metal Pressure Sensor Pipe, Temperature Sensor or Oxygen Sensor. Ensure the chosen sensor is lower than the turbo to prevent product running back into the engine
Spray Wynn’s DPF & GPF On-Car Cleaner into the particulate filter until the can is empty
Allow the product to soak for 15-30 minutes
Refit the Pressure Sensor Pipe or Temperature/Oxygen Sensor
After soak time restart engine and idle for 5 minutes, then run engine at 2,000-2,500 rpm for 5 minutes
If Air flow Sensor was disconnected reconnect
Clear Fault codes and reset Particulate Filter Data if required
Carry out extended road test

Best Practice

After treatment, it’s recommended to carry out a Wynn’s Air Intake and EGR System Clean, followed by a Wynn’s Engine or Diesel Engine Flush, and an oil and filter change.

Diesel Engines

After treatment with Wynn’s DPF/GPF On-Car Cleaner, the recommended treatments are:

Carry out a Wynn’s Diesel EGR 4 Air Intake and EGR System Cleaner (23478).
Apply the in-tank Wynn’s Diesel Turbo and DPF Cleaner Regenerator (31592) to clean the turbo and regenerate the DPF.
For in-tank additives always ensure there is at least half a tank of fuel.
Follow this with a Wynn’s Diesel Engine Flush (67001) and an oil and filter change.

Petrol Engines

After treatment with Wynn’s DPF/GPF On-Car Cleaner, the recommended treatments are:

Carry out Wynn’s Petrol EGR Extreme Cleaner (29879) for immediate through cleaning of the air intake system, airflow sensor, inlet valves and EGR system.
Apply the in-tank Wynn’s Petrol Inject-A Clean (61001) to clean the injectors.
For in-tank additives always ensure there is at least half a tank of fuel.
Follow this with a Wynn’s Engine Flush (65901) and an oil and filter change.
